When you participate in the Amazon Search Inside the Book program, Amazon digitally catalogs the text of your book.  This way they can provide their customers with more accurate and targeted search results and recommendations.  So if someone searches for a children’s book about academic excellence,  not only will Valedictorian be recommended,  Amazon will give a sample showing the specific pages that mention academic excellence.  Ultimately,  leading to more book sales.
